Company Profile

The Berlin-based GAZPROM Germania GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the world’s largest natural gas producer, GAZPROM Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC). Since its establishment in 1990, GAZPROM Germania GmbH has evolved into an internationally operating company Group. Today, the Group comprises almost 30 companies operating in more than 20 countries in Europe and Central Asia. In 2009, around 520 employees, 180 of which are located in Berlin, contributed to revenue of 8.0 billion euro.

  • Data: unstructured, but complete view; role of data owners for particular topics not noticeable because of non-homogenous data pool
  • Tool: file-based; PDF, xls, fax; very simple authorization concept; decentralization is not possible
