zetVisions celebrates its tenth company anniversary

Strong market position and a convincing product portfolio in the field of Legal Entity Management

Heidelberg, December 2nd, 2011 – zetVisions AG, the Heidelberg-based European market leader for Legal Entity Management software, is celebrating a round anniversary in December. Since its establishment in 2001, the company has set numerous trends in the field of Business Intelligence and Legal Entity Management. Reason enough to review the lively company history and to draw up an interim balance.

zetVisions AG was founded by Horst Ziegler, the long-time head of consulting of SAP AG. Initially, zetVisions focused on a Legal Entity Management solution for the private equity and venture capital industry, which was finally certified by SAP as an industry solution in 2003. From these experiences controlling solutions for the areas of finances, purchase and employees, as well as data management applications accrued.

Finally, the first worldwide SAP-based Legal Entity Management software, the "zetVisions Corporate Investment Manager", accrued. The solution was developed within the framework of a "Software Development Cooperation Agreement" with SAP in 2006 and was tested and certified in an extensive qualification process and finally included in the SAP solution portfolio as an official supplement.

In August 2007, zetVisions acquired the OpenData Systemhaus AG and the product AMI. Furthermore, since June 2008, zetVisions has continued the support of the former Cartesis/ BusinessObjects products Cosmos and Insighter. Through these takeovers, the customer base and particularly the know-how have broadened in the demanding field of Legal Entity Management. Thereby, zetVisions heads the leading European competence center for Legal Entity Management.
