SAP-based Legal Entity Management solution zetVisions CIM once again certified by auditors
Heidelberg, August 8, 2016 – The legal entity management software zetVisions CIM (Corporate Investment Manager) developed by the IT expert zetVisions AG has undergone a certification test from one of the „Big-Four“ auditor companies for the fifth time. The test procedure for the release 3.2, which had been introduced in December 2015, took place according to the auditing standard “Audit of Software Products” of the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer (Institute of Public Auditors), IDW PS 880 from 2010. Once again, it was tested whether the software ensures an integrity and factual processing correctness in accordance to the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) during proper application.
Among others, the tested functions include modifications in the list of shareholdings according to § 285 No. 11 HGB (Commercial Code) and § 313 by the BilRUG as well as transactions to record options and convertible bonds. Also, a modification history for master data fields is available with the right mouse button. This allows a quick check of which master data changes were performed in the course of time within almost every field, for example how the company name was changed, without having to open the time slices or records. Moreover, the user can navigate comfortably over a link from the history to the relevant modification record.
The software zetVisions CIM supports companies with the complex task of maintaining and controlling national and international legal entities professionally and in a value-oriented way. “The standard solution zetVisions CIM is the world’s first and only SAP-based software for the management of legal entities with a quality certified by auditors.” explains Monika Pürsing, CEO of zetVisions AG. “The audit standard IDW PS 880 covers a wider audit range than other approaches of software certification. The certification by this standard confirms that our software reliably meets the requirements for correctness of operational information systems,” she says.

At this conference, which is the most important conference of its kind throughout Europe, the company is going to be represented with an exhibition stand as well as with an “Industry Innovation Session”: Monika Pürsing, CEO of zetVisions AG, is going to talk on the 17th of May 2016 on the topic of “Data Quality: Central Key Success for Big Data” (1.55pm–2.20pm).
Today‘s “data-driven” companies – there is no process without data – are increasingly faced with the challenge to actively manage the production factor “data”. They are especially in need of reliable master data, which means reliable static basic data or reference data to objects relevant for the company such as products, suppliers, customers, and employees. Nowadays, master data is the centre to business activity: They are an important comprehensive component, which participates in smooth operational processes and business decisions as well as in data evaluation and data analysis or products and services. Master data represents a frequently underestimated asset value. In addition, in times of Big Data, the requirements regarding the quality of master data and their handling are once more increasing. Therefore, an institutionalized Master Data and Data Quality Management are inevitable. Against this background, the “Industry Innovation Session” is going to examine the importance of reliable master data for the digitalization of the economy and the thereof resulting requirements for the operative processes and the IT technology for the company.
The 11th European MDM summit takes place at the same time as the 9th “Data Governance Conference Europe 2016”. The both co-occurring conferences enable their participants to, efficiently, use the collaboration of Master Data Management and Data Governance in order to achieve the best possible operating results through reliable information. 13 pre-conference workshops, 40 case studies, four post-conference workshops and numerous exhibition stands are going to build the organizational framework in order to discuss the challenges of the Master Data Management with the world’s greatest providers of the MDM sector and practitioners from companies.
