Heidelberg, December 12, 2024 - The Heidelberg-based software provider zetVisions is responding to current changes in the international taxation of companies with the release 4.6.01 of its legal entity management zetVisions AMI ("Shareholding Management Information System").
The background to this is "Pillar 2" of the Global Anti-Base Erosion Rules (GloBE). "Pillar 2 introduces a global minimum tax of 15 percent from 2024. It is intended to achieve effective local income taxation in every (tax) jurisdiction in which one or more group companies or permanent establishments are located. This regulation affects multinational companies and large domestic groups with a consolidated annual turnover of at least 750 million euros and applies to financial years beginning after December 30, 2023. Pillar 2 requires the establishment of a new GloBE reporting system within the group. Corresponding data can now be maintained in AMI and evaluated using a report.
In addition, the new AMI release offers the option of entering the new business identification number (W-IdNr.) introduced by the Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt). Similar to the tax identification number for natural persons, the W-IdNr. is used to uniquely identify beneficial owners.
"With the new release, we are responding to the latest legal adjustments and, with AMI, we are offering a legal entity management that always covers the latest market requirements," says Christian Sohn, CEO of zetVisions.
Alongside zetVisions CIM and zetVisions Insighter, zetVisions AMI is one of the established, market-leading solutions for legal entity management in Germany and Europe.
Release 4.6.01 has been available for delivery since December 9, 2024.
